In this role you join Qonto’s AI Lab as a Backend Engineer to ship AI-enabled agents that streamline how 600,000+ businesses manage finances. You’ll own backend and AI logic for a dedicated agent within a small squad, delivering new agents on a six-week cadence. You’ll balance speed with reliability in a regulated banking context and collaborate with the full stack to ensure seamless customer impact. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced opportunity to shape AI in‑product at scale.

Own the backend and AI logic from scoping to deployment for a dedicated AI agent
Ship an AI agent every 6 weeks within the squad’s cadence
Build reliable AI systems with guardrails aligned to a regulated banking environment
Create maintainable, future‑proof components to enable rapid iteration
Collaborate across the full stack, including frontend contributions as needed
Code primarily in Python (about 70% of time) with minimal meetings to maximize shipping velocity
Responsabilità
Strong production experience in Python
Startup mindset with ability to ship under aggressive timelines
Experience or interest in AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
Willingness to interact with Go and core services (bonus)
Excellent communication skills to explain technical topics clearly
Fluent English
